Cleaning the rug
Vacuum Regularly. Avoid any cleaning agent with bleach or strong chemicals. It is best to try an area for colourfastness before using across a large area of the rug. We recommend to use a dry powder style of cleaner as they can be vacuumed out of the rug and do not leave any residue. When cleaning, always blot, and never scrub or rub abrasively. Avoid running vacuum directly over outer serged edge of carpet. This can create fraying. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. Remove any grease spots with ordinary dry cleaning solvents.
Professional or periodic cleanings using the power spray-extraction carpet cleaning method are recommended. You should have the smallest possible amount of cleaning chemical used when you hire a professional cleaner. Allow to dry flat on the floor.
