Tracey Muir
Dr Tracey Muir is an Associate Professor in Mathematics Education at the University of Tasmania. Her research interests include effective teaching of numeracy, student engagement, teacher knowledge and the use of children’s literature to teach mathematics. She regularly conducts professional learning for teachers and has delivered workshops, presentations and keynote addresses at national and international conferences.
Sharyn Livy
Dr Sharyn Livy is currently a lecturer of mathematics education in the Faculty of Education, Monash University. Sharyn was a numeracy consultant with the Mathematical Association of Victoria (MAV). In 2017 Sharyn received an award from the Australian Teacher Education Association, related to her work with pre-service teachers and co-teaching with primary teachers.
Leicha Bragg
Dr. Leicha Bragg is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education at Deakin University. She has worked in education with preservice and practising primary mathematics teachers for over 20 years.
Julie Clark
Julie Clark has been in mathematics education for 30 years. Her career has spanned across primary, secondary and tertiary levels. She is passionate about mathematics and teaching and is currently the Associate Dean in Learning and Teaching in the School of Education at Flinders University, South Australia. Julie has worked and studied in both Australia and the USA.
Jill Wells
Dr Jill Wells is a lecturer in Mathematics Education within the Faculty of Education. Formerly a classroom teacher, she completed her PhD in Argument-Based Inquiry in Mathematics prior to transitioning to the higher education sector. Jill currently teaches inclusive mathematics and mathematics content and pedagogy at the primary and early years levels in initial teacher education courses at the University of Tasmania.
Catherine Attard
Dr Catherine Attard is an Associate Professor in primary mathematics education and Deputy Director of Research within the School of Education. She is a multiple award-winning educator who has transformed teaching and learning in primary mathematics at Western Sydney University for over 10 years. Catherine has won several teaching awards, including a 2016 Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) Teaching Excellence Award, an Office of Learning and Teaching citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and the Western Sydney University Vice-Chancellor's Excellence in Teaching Award. In 2017 she was listed in The Educator's Hotlist as one the most influential educators in Australia.
