Jess Racklyeft is a Melbourne based illustrator who has worked on twelve childrens books, but this is the first book she has both authored and illustrated. Jess was inspired by her childhood travels to different parts of Australia and worked with watercolours and digital collage to create the illustrations. Working from her home studio, her days are happily filled with picture books - either creating them or reading them with her two small children.
