These dolls are made by a women's cooperative based in Indonesia. The cooperative was established in 2006, by Ukke. Driven by the desire to help disadvantaged women in her village, she specifically focused on single mothers, those recovering from domestic violence and those with physical ailments that don't allow employment in the general community. The cooperative has now also established a natural dying and ecoprint service to outreach to other artisans to create in the garden. A peaceful place where permaculture is used to provide harmony to the soul a place for healing.
