This delightful collection for Early Childhood will mesmerise young children and older readers. The black linework and colourful wash backgrounds work beautifully with the text.

Set includes 4 hardcover books from a very talented group of indigenous artists.

Illustrator: Kiara Honeychurch
Hailing from Tasmania, Kiara is inspired by the bush creatures she encounters in her rural home out of Hobart. With bold and sophisticated pops of colour, Kiara unleashes the beauty and character of each creature and reimagines its unpredictable tones in a changing light from sunrise to sunset. Kiara's warm and creative understanding of the animals she sees is a lively showcase of her talent. This board book for Early Childhood will capture the hearts of young readers and readers young at heart.

Illustrator: Kamsani Bin Salleh
Kamsani Bin Salleh is descended from the Ballardong Noongar people and Nimunburr and Yawuru peoples of the Kimberley. He is an emerging artist/multi-media practitioner who is garnering attention for his ability to reflect the natural world with intricate designs and striking black line work.

Illustrator: Tori-Jay Mordey
In this delightful Early Childhood board book, Tori-Jay Mordey's graphic illustrations bring the city to life in all its colourful glory. Mordey's bold and painterly art style celebrates the pace of the cityscape, whether it be her built environment of tall buildings and big signs, or her moving panorama of long buses. With a fresh and youthful eye, Tori-Jay captures the quirky gait of walking dogs and a jittery assembly of hungry pigeons as they share the streets with happy buskers and lots of people!

Illustrator: Joshua Button
Joshua Button is descended from the Walmajarri people of the East Kimberley. As a young boy growing up in the far north of Western Australia, Joshua spent many weekends fishing and crabbing in the mangroves with his family. His keen interest in the saltwater country is expressed in the insightful and evocative artwork of his first picture book Joshua and the Two Crabs (Magabala Books, 2008) produced with the help of his friend and mentor Robyn Wells as part of a school literacy program.

Illustrator: Robyn Wells
Robyn Wells has a degree in Fine Arts and has lived in the Kimberley for many years. She is passionate about enabling young people to express themselves through language and art.
